CRACK, BOOM, CRASH. They have to leave, will they make it?  Isabel, Josef, mahud are the main characters.  Different things are happening to them. The setting of the story takes place all at different times. The settings are Cuba, Germany, also a ship that will hopefully take them to safety or is it a trick. They are all making tough decisions to leave the places they grew up in and running from the bad stuff . The struggle is escaping, not having enough money, not enough  fuel to run away, also just by stepping in the water, leaving family behind. I believe you will love this book if you love reading about the Holocust, action, running away, and the Nazis. What is going to happen, will each family make it to safety? How will they do it, and what challenges will they have to overcome?. Read the book to find out.
